Biography of Peggie Hulebak Rowell
I am married to the love of my life and amazing adventure partner, Bob. We live in North Alabama with our two cats, Lacey Underpants (a tortie girl) and Leornardo DiHandsome a/k/a Leonardo DiCATprio (a brown and white tabby boy). Yes, they are spoiled rotten! I earned a Business Degree, Paralegal Degree, and Juris Doctor all while working full time as a paralegal. For the last twenty plus years I've practiced law and ran my own law practice concentrating in general civil matters and real estate. I also have a creative side with a passion for writing. Since I was a young child, I have loved writing stories and poems. Specifically, I've felt drawn to writing children's books. There is something very special about the magic of books and the power of words to create worlds you can travel to in your imagination. My dream is to create vibrant characters that transport young readers on captivating adventures and, of course, give great belly laughs!
I LOVE: My husband; my family; my friends; my cats; animals; writing; reading; my book club - The Fun Girls; travel; spending time at our lakehouse (where I do most of my writing and reading); Hallmark movies; cooking; comedy clubs, zoos, music (especially live music), photography, nature, new adventures, gym time; and down time.
